Major: Biology and Government
Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because of all the friendly people! Colby also stuck out to me because I knew I would be challenged both academically and athletically to ultimately become a better student-athlete."
Internship/Work Experience: "During the summer of 2020 I was a student intern researching for a urologist at Montefiore Hospital in NY. During Jan Plan of 2020 I participated in Colby's Pre-Med Academy and shadowed/researched with a pulmonologist in the Intensive Care Unit at MaineGeneral Hospital."
Favorite Place on Campus: "Bob's Dining Hall or the top of Miller Steps looking out at the beautiful view."
Most Memorable Team Experience: "My most memorable team experience would probably be the last practice we had before we were sent home due to COVID-19. Although this was a really emotional time for us all and not exactly a happy memory, the silver lining that stood out to me was the amount of love on our team. At that last practice we laughed, cried, and just goofed around, making the most of the little time we had left together before going home. It's through those tough times where our team bond grew stronger, and I can't help but look back on those days with so much gratitude for this amazing group of people. Everyone loves to race and run fast, but when that's all taken away, it's the people we are surrounded with that matter the most."
Plans after Colby: "I want to pursue a career in medicine whether it be doctor, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner. Still figuring out the details!"
What do you think of the new Athletic Center?: "It's beautiful! Super pumped to race on the brand new track."
