Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Caitlin graduated from Concord-Carlisle Regional, where she ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. She transferred to Colby from Providence College. Caitlin received the Arthur Dulong Award for academic and athletic excellence. Caitlin has worked as an EMT for Fallon Ambulance Service in Boston.

AT COLBY

Caitlin is majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. 

2017 season highlights: Caitlin earned Colby's Patty Valavanis Award at the senior athletics awards ceremony for academic and athletic success. She also was Colby's selection for the NCAA Woman of the Year. Caitlin was 72nd in the country at the NCAA Division III Championships and earned All-NESCAC First Team honors for placing third overall. Lawlor also earned All-New England honors for the second time after placing 12th overall in the regional meet. Caitlin placed third overall in the Keene State Invitational and fifth at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle. She earned NCAA Division III All-Academic Team honors and was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 

2016 season highlights: Lawlor earned All-NESCAC Second Team honors for finishing 12th at the league championships and first among Colby runners. She placed fourth at the Williams Purple Valley Invitational, 17th in the New England Division III Championships to earn All-New England honors, and 91st at the NCAA Division III Championships. Lawlor was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

 

2015 season highlights: Lawlor opened the season by finishing sixth in the Bates first-year/sophomore race, 73rd at the Lehigh Invitational, third at the Maine State Championships, and 42nd at the NESCAC Championships. She finished her season by finishing 36th at the New England Division III Championships.
