BEFORE COLBY
Acadia ran cross country and competed in track and field at Santa Fe Preparatory School.
AFTER COLBY
Acadia is a Global Studies major and an Anthropology minor at Colby.
2016 cross country highlights: Acadia was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2016 outdoor season highlights: Brooks started the outdoor season at the Bowdoin Invitational with a 13th-place finish in the 800 meters. At the Colby Open, Acadia raced to a fifth-place finish in the 400 dash. Acadia closed out her junior season with a 19th-place finish in the 800 meters at the Aloha Relays. Acadia also earned NESCAC Spring All-Academic honors.
2016 indoor season highlights: Brooks took 20th in the 200-meter dash at the Maine State Championships. She was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic team.
2015 outdoor season highlights: Brooks opened the season at the Colby Invitational by taking sixth in the 400 dash. Brooks finished ninth in the 800 at the Bowdoin Invitational.
2015 indoor season highlights: Brooks helped the 4x400 relay team take second at the USM Invitational and also took third in the 600. At the Bates Invitational, Brooks helped the 4x200 relay team take third and also took fourth in the 800. Brooks finished her season by taking ninth in the 400 at the Bowdoin Invitational.
2014 cross country season highlights: Brooks competed in the Colby Invitational for the Mules, finishing 14th.
2014 outdoor season highlights: Brooks opened the season at the Corsair Classic by taking 24th in the 400 and fourth with the 4x400 relay team. At the NESCAC Championships, Brooks helped the 4x800 relay team take eighth.
2014 indoor season highlights: Brooks took 27th in the 600 at the Tufts Invitational in her first year with the team.
