BEFORE COLBY

Sammy graduated from Horace Greeley High School, where she played field hockey and ice hockey. She captained the field hockey team and was a two-time all-league selection. Sammy also played club hockey for the Westchester Wild.

AT COLBY

Sammy is majoring in Education.

2017-2018 season highlights: Sammy rowed from the fifth spot in the third varsity 8 boat for the Mules in the President's Cup against Bates. She was on the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) All-Academic Team. 

2016-2017 season highlights: Sammy had races with Colby's third varsity 8, including an 11th-place finish while sitting in the first spot at the New England Rowing Championships. She had races in the first and third spots.
