Ling graduated from Winchester High School where she was a member of the swim, Nordic ski, and track teams.

AT COLBY

Ling is majoring in Global Studies and East Asian Studies. She is the vice-chair of the Pugh Community Board, co-president of Project Pengyou, and the leader of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

2017-2018 season highlights: Ling raced from the third spot in the women's second varsity 8. She also made the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team and the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) All-Academic Team.

2016-2017 season highlights: Ling rowed from the fifth spot in the boat for the women's second varsity 8. She helped the crew place eighth at both the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC) and the New England Championships. Ling also helped the second varsity 8 to a win in Georgia and victories over U. New Hampshire and U. Vermont.

2014-2015 season highlights: MacLean rowed from the fifth position in the second varsity boat at the Worcester Regatta, and was first at the UNH Regatta, ninth at the New England Rowing Championship, and 13^th at the ECAC National Championship.
