Abbey Moore-Kneipp joined the Colby Crew coaching staff to start the 2023-24 academic year.
Moore-Kneipp comes to Mayflower Hill from Boulder, Colorado, where she was the coach and director of rowing for the 2022-23 season with the junior club in town. Prior to moving back to Colorado, Moore-Kneipp rowed for the University of Wisconsin-Madison all four years of her undergrad, where she majored in Nonprofit Leadership. Before getting into coaching and program directing, Moore-Kneipp worked for REVO Physiotherapy, in Boulder, where she wore many hats while both learning and gaining a passion for the importance of strength training, body mechanics, recovery work, and soft tissue work.
Moore-Kneipp truly appreciates the small things in life, such as a quality baked good, sharing food and laughs with friends, and stopping to take pictures of nature, animals, bugs, and clouds during rides, runs, and rows, of course.
