Biography
BEFORE COLBY
Lauren transferred to Colby from Kenyon College. She played field hockey and basketball at Worthington Kilbourne and was a three-year letter winner, scholar-athlete, and was captain of both teams as a senior. Lauren earned the OHSAA state award for sportsmanship, ethics and integrity, graduated with highest honors and received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award. She was a member of the National Honor Society, an academic gold key holder, and was the senior editor of the school newspaper.
AT COLBY
Lauren is majoring in Biology and minoring in Environmental Studies. She is a mentor with the Colby Cares About Kids program.

2015-16 season highlights: Barnhart played in 22 games for the Mules as a junior, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest.
2014-15 season highlights: Barnhart appeared in 24 games for the Mules in her sophomore season, earning more playing time as the year progressed. Lauren finished the season averaging 14.2 minutes per game, with nine steals, and a nearly 36 percent shooting percentage from three-point range.
