2018-19 season highlights: Ainsley earned MWBCA All-State Second Team honors in her junior season with the Mules. She started all 24 games with the Mules, averaging 36.5 minutes, the most on the team. Burns finished the year fifth in NESCAC in points per game (14.7), as well as first on the team in steals (1.5) and third in defensive rebounds (4.6) per contest.
2017-18 season highlights: Burns played in 20 games for the Mules this season. She placed second in the team in blocks (17) and averaged 9.3 points per game. She also was second on the team in field goal shooting percentage (38.3) and placed 15th in the conference with a 3-point shooting percentage per game of 29.6.
2016-17 season highlights: Burns played in all 25 games for the Mules in her first season and made the Maine All-Rookie Team. She led the team in blocks (22), was third on the team in shooting percentage (41.1), and first on the team in shooting percentage against NESCAC teams (47.6). She also averaged 8.1 points (8.8 points against NESCAC teams), 1.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per contest.
