Why I chose Colby: I started my search by looking for a smaller college, and as soon as I had a tour of Colby it shot to the top of my list. I am continually impressed by the intentionality of professors here, and I am very glad I did indeed choose Colby.

Major: Mathematics and Biology: Neuroscience

What is your Favorite Part of the Athletic Center: Who else gets to train each day with a huge glass wall to their side? The indoor track is so nice to run each day on.

Favorite Place on Campus: The Spa always comes in clutch with to-go food. You see so many friends sifting in and out too.

Most Memorable Team Experience: The lonnnng bus ride to and from Atlanta for our spring break trip was a crazy bonding experience. Getting there and what the team accomplished (on and off the track) was an amazing opportunity, but being stepped on while trying to sleep on the bus-- memorable indeed.

Internship/Work Experience: This past summer, I worked with Professor Oliver Layton on research related to understanding the human mechanisms of Optic Flow through network modeling. It was a great experience and I am so grateful to Professor Layton and the OWLab, and I look forward to exploring even more in the future!
