Colby College

Kevin Makarowski enters his 13th season as an Assistant Coach for the Colby Swimming teams in the 2023-24 academic year.

Makarowski was a 23-time All-American in his four years at Union College. He was inducted into the Union Athletics Hall of Fame. At the time of his graduation, Makarowski held 11 school records and six conference records.

Makarowski was inducted into the Union College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008. He was awarded the Bruce Jaffe Medal as most outstanding senior athlete at Union and the William Pike Medal for being the top junior athlete.

Makarowski graduated from Union in 1997 and later earned his master's degree from Alfred University in 2001. He also earned a Certificate of Advanced Study from Alfred in 2003.
