Skylar graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas, where she played softball. She was a member of the National Honor Society.
AT COLBY
Skylar is majoring in Religious Studies and Mathematical Sciences with a minor in Managerial Economics. She volunteers with the Special Olympics and works in the Eustis Service Center on campus.
2017 season highlights: Skylar was third on the Mules in batting average (.342) and second in on-base percentage (.435). She also had 26 total hits, eightr runs, five doubles, one home run, 11 walks, and 13 RBI. She had a .974 fielding percentage while playing both catcher and third base.
2016 season highlights: Labbe played in 29 games for the Mules in her sophomore season, leading the team in batting average (.353) and on-base percentage (.434), and finished second in hits (30) and put outs (91). She finished third on the team in runs (16), RBIs (11), walks (11), and fielding percentage (.990). Labbe finished fourth in slugging percentage (.447) and doubles (5).
2015 season highlights: Labbe started 19 games for the Mules and finished the season fifth in batting average (.254) and on-base percentage (.302). Labbe was tied for second in RBI (12), slugging percentage (.492), and home runs (3). Skylar did not make an error in the field in 2015.
