Robin graduated cum laude from Thayer Academy, where she played field hockey and softball. She was a Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic player for softball.
AT COLBY
Robin is majoring in Educational Studies with a Human Development concentration and a minor in Managerial Economics. She is the co-head of the Special Events Committee for SAAC. In the summer of 2016, Robin interned in logistics for Revolution Lacrosse.
2017 season highlights: Robin had a spectacular senior season and earned the Warren Finegan Award for behind the scenes contributions to the Colby Department of Athletics. The tri-captain was tied for seventh in the NESCAC in batting average (.409), was third in on-base percentage (.485), and tied for 10th in stolen bases. Robin was named to the NESCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Team.
2016 season highlights: Spofford plated in 29 games for the Mules as a junior, finishing the year with 17 runs, 26 hits, seven RBI, and 12 walks. She batted .280 and added a .362 on base percentage. She stole five bases on the year and had 59 putouts in the field. Robin will be one of the captains for the 2017 team.
2015 season highlights: Spofford started 23 games for the Mules in 2015 and was sixth on the team in batting average and on-base percentage. Robin was second on the team in stolen bases with four.
2014 season highlights: Spofford appeared in 23 games for the Mules in 2014 and was second on the team in walks (8). Spofford was sixth in on-base percentage.
