BEFORE COLBY
Christian graduated from Middlesex School, where he was a member of the cross country, wrestling, and crew teams. An honor roll student, he received the Coaches' Award for cross country in addition to awards for music and theater. Christian has interned at Cape Country 104, a radio station, and completed a theater intensive with Shakespeare and Company.
AT COLBY
Christian is majoring in English. He is a member of the Colby Eight. Christian's sister, Annie '14, played soccer and ice hockey for the Mules.
2017-2018 season highlights: Christian sat in the sixth spot for the second varsity 8 boat and made the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team and the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC) All-Academic Team.
2016-2017 season highlights: Christian sat in the varsity 8 boat in the third spot when the Mules took 10th at the National Invitational Rowing Championships (NIRC). He was in the second varsity 8 boat in the fifth spot for a sixth-place finish and a Grand Final appearance at the New England Championships. Papadellis also was sitting fifth for the second varsity 8 in a win over University of New Hampshire. Christian was on the NIRC All-Academic Team.
2015-2016 season highlights: Papadellis competed in the first varsity boat in his sophomore season. He helped the Mules finish first at the home regatta, second in the Petite Final and eighth overall at the New England Rowing Championships, and 13th at the ECAC National Championship.
2014-2015 season highlights: Papadellis opened the season at the Snake Regatta by taking 13th in the four-boat from the first position and fifth in the novice boat from the eighth position. Papadellis helped the second varsity team take second at the UNH Regatta and 15th at the ECAC National Championships, both from the eighth position to finish the season.
