Sophia Gorman graduated from Colby in 2022 with a degree in Anthropology and Economics. During her time as a student on Mayflower Hill, Gorman ran on the Cross Country and Track & Field team for three years and was part of the Nordic Ski team for her senior year. Gorman loved the opportunity to compete on multiple different teams and was inspired by the great mentors in the Colby Athletic Department she had. Now Gorman is excited to return to Colby as an Assistant Nordic Ski Coach to hopefully inspire more developing athletes.
Gorman grew up in Vermont and always loved the outdoors. Due to the long and adventurous outdoor events with her family and friends as a child, she grew into the endurance athlete that she is today.
