In the 2021-22 academic year, Brad Ravenelle joined the Mules as the Assistant Men's and Women's Nordic Skiing Coach under head coach Tracey Cote.
"We are really fortunate to have Brad joining us at Colby College," said Cote. "His experience being an athlete is invaluable and he has already made an impact working on projects, getting us ready for our much anticipated ski season. Brad and I share a strong vision for Colby Nordic and I'm excited to work with him to make our vision a reality."
Ravenelle graduated from Bates College in 2021 with a B.A. in History. While at Bates the Portland, Maine native enjoyed a successful career as a member of the Nordic Ski team, earning NESCAC Winter All-Academic honors as well as USCSCA National Collegiate All-Academic recognition. With intersts overlapping in the world of skiing, he completed his senior honors thesis on the History of Biathlon.
Ravenelle is certified as a Wilderness First Responder by the WMA and owns a certification as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
