Internship/Work Experience: "I was a research assistant for Denise Bruesewitz’s limnology lab at Colby after my freshman year, and last summer I was an F. Russell Cole Research Fellow studying otters!"

Favorite Place on Campus: Hillside

Most Memorable Team Experience: "Finishing the Sugarloaf Hill Climb together."

Plans after Colby: "Start a family and work at an ocean research facility in Denmark."

What Do You Think of the New Athletic Center?: "It’s breathtaking. Truly a stunning project and a major asset to the Colby community."

2020 season highlights: Gustafson skied in five carnivals for the Mules during his sophomore season. He earned career bests in both the skate and classic disciplines, finishing 53rd in the UVM 10km skate and 60th in the Colby 15km classic.

2019 season highlights: Gustafson earned 36th place in the 15km mass start classic race at the Rikert Eastern Cup for his best finish of the season.
