Adam Reeb

Adam Reeb enters his eighth year serving as the Head Coach of the Colby College Men's Tennis program since arriving on Mayflower Hill during the 2018-19 academic year.

The men's team has found significant success under Reeb's guidance. The team recorded its highest ITA rankings (19th nationally and 5th regionally) in program history during a terrific Spring 2023 season that saw the Mules defeat top-20 opponents Amherst and Wesleyan.  The team recorded a 5th place finish in the NESCAC as well.

Individually, the program has reached incredible heights as well. In 2025, Jake Cohen qualified for the NCAA Division III Singles Championships and Cohen was named the ITA Most Improved Player of the Year along with receiving the prestigious NESCAC Clarence Chaffee Sportsmanship Award.  In addition, Jason Daly was named the ITA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year and the NESCAC Rookie of the Year.

In 2024, Joey Barrett and Jake Cohen were both ranked in the top 30 nationally in singles and Barrett was named a CSC Men's Tennis Academic All-American.  In 2021, Jan Wenger qualified for the NCAA Division III Singles Championships and Joey Barrett was named the ITA Northeast Rookie of the Year.  In 2020, Scott Altmeyer earned the ITA Northeast Senior Player of the Year, raising his national singles ranking to No. 10 and earning All-American recognition.

Reeb, who was named the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) New England Division College Coach of the Year in 2019, served as the NESCAC Men's Tennis Representative for the NCAA Division III Region One Rankings Advisory Committee (RAC) as well.

Reeb also served as the head coach of the Colby College women's tennis program from September 2018 to October 2022.

The women's team found significant success under Reeb's tutelage as well. The team finished the 2021 season with the highest ranking (22nd) in program history.

Individually, Carly Levitz earned All-American status by advancing to the round of 16 in the 2021 NCAA Division III Singles Championships.

Reeb was the head coach for both teams at NCAA Division I Seattle University, NCAA Division II McKendree University, and NAIA Lindenwood University before coming to Colby.

Reeb was the USPTA Pacific Northwest Division College Coach of the Year in 2016 and as an assistant coach at McKendree, Reeb was the 2010 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NAIA Men's Region III Assistant Coach of the Year.

Reeb had more than 60 wins between the two programs at Seattle University. The women's team made the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) tourney semifinals all three years. The men's team also made the WAC semifinals in 2016. Both the men's and women's teams earned the 2017 ITA Division I Northwest Region Community Service Award.

In two years as head coach at McKendree, Reeb guided the men's program to 35 wins and the women to 31 victories. The men's team qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in school history in 2014 and was ranked in the ITA national poll.

Before spending one season as head coach at Lindenwood in his hometown of Belleville, Ill., Reeb was an assistant coach at Saint Louis University, his alma mater, from August 2010 to July 2012. He started his coaching career as an assistant at McKendree for the 2009-10 academic year.

A business administration major, he was named the outstanding senior in management by the John Cook School of Business. After graduating in May 2009 from Saint Louis, Reeb earned his master's degree from the United States Sports Academy in August 2010.
