Biography

Why I chose Colby: "Colby captured my eye because of its beautiful campus, location in Maine, strong academics, and sense of community. In my time at Colby, I have been inspired by the Government and Environmental Studies departments and have been fortunate to be exposed to unique opportunities on and off campus."

Internship/Work Experience: Charlie was a counselor at Camp Deerhorn, a Legislative Staff Intern at the United States Senate for Senator Stabenow, and a Refuge Press Intern at the Fordham Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs.

Major: Government; minor in Environmental Studies

Favorite Place on Campus: The Reading Room

Most Memorable Team Experience: "When I was a sophomore, the team took a trip down to Portland to volunteer at Portland Community Squash. It was a great experience to play with and coach several members of the youth squash program at PCS. Following the event, the team went out to lunch and went to Popham Beach for the afternoon. I recall it as a great bonding experience that propelled us into a fun season. I hope that we can make similar memories as a team this year."

Plans After Colby: "After school, I hope to work for a year or two before enrolling in law school."
