BEFORE COLBY
Sean graduated from The Hill School, where he played football, hockey, and lacrosse. He was an All-MAPL selection and won awards for economics, Chinese, and American history.
AT COLBY
Sean is majoring in Economics with a minor in East Asian Studies and a Financlai Markets concentration.
2017 season highlights: Sean started all 14 games on defense and finished with 25 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Sean also was a key player on clears. He was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Dougherty played in 12 games for the Mules on defense as a junior, making four starts. Sean finished the season with one goal, 14 ground balls, and six caused turnovers.
2015 season highlights: Dougherty appeared in 12 games for the Mules in 2015, making four starts. Sean finished the season with one assist, 16 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers. He was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2014 season highlights: Dougherty made seven appearances in his first season with the Mules, where he compiled three ground balls.
