BEFORE COLBY

Michael graduated from Oratory Prep, where he played soccer and lacrosse. He was a captain and received all-conference and all-county honors. 

AT COLBY 

Michael is majoring in Environmental Policy. He is a member of Colby's environmental coalition, Colby Enterpreneuership Network, Colby's Consulting Club and Colby's Outing Club. Over the summer, McHale worked as a management consulting intern at PwC.

2018 season highlights: McHale started all 13 game on defense for the Mules this season. He finished with 17 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Michael was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2017 season highlights: Michael started all 14 games on defense and led the Mules in caused turnovers (15). He also had 17 ground balls and led starting defenders with just three turnovers. McHale was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2016 season highlights: McHale played on defense for the Mules in his first season. He finished the year with two ground balls and one caused turnover.
