BEFORE COLBY

Brad graduated from Darien High School where he played lacrosse. He was team captain and an All-FCIAC and All-State player.

AT COLBY 

Brad is majoring in Economics and Government. He is a member of Mayflower Hill Capital, Colby Leadership Academy, and Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

2018 season highlights: McCarthy played in 13 games for the Mules, starting 10 of them. He finished the season with 17 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.

2017 season highlights: Brad led the Mules in ground balls (36) and was fourth in caused turnovers (8).

2016 season highlights: McCarthy played in 14 games for the Mules and made 10 starts as a sophomore. He finished the season with one assist, finished fifth on the team with 30 ground balls, and was second on the team with 20 caused turnovers.

2015 season highlights: McCarthy saw quality time in his first year with the Mules. He recovered seven ground balls and had five caused turnovers.
