Thomas graduated from Christian Brothers College High School and played hockey. He won the Athlete of the Semester Award.

AT COLBY 

Thomas is majoring in Economics. He is a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee executive board. Over the summer, Thomas has volunteered with children with Down Syndrome.

2018-19 season highlights: Stahlhuth had a stellar final season for the Mules. He was tied for second on the team in scoring with seven goals and seven assists. The scores included two power play goals, two game-tiers, a short-handed score, and a game-winner.

2017-18 season highlights: Thomas had the primary assist on teammate Justin Grillo’s game-winning goal with less than two seconds left in Colby’s NCAA quarterfinal win over Geneseo. He finished with three goals and 10 assists while playing on defense. Stahlhuth had the game-winning goal in a home victory over rival Bowdoin.

2016-17 season highlights: Stahlhuth played in 23 games, finishing with three goals and three assists.

2015-16 season highlights: Stahlhuth played in six games for the Mules on the blue line and finished the season with three assists.
