BEFORE COLBY
Pat graduated from Northampton High School and Loomis Chaffee, where he was a member of the cross country, basketball, and track teams. At Northampton, he won the Western Massachusetts championship in basketball and was an honor roll student. Pat was a two-year captain at Loomis, where he was an honor roll student and received the Founders' Prize. Over the summer of 2016, he worked as a player development trainer with young basketball players.
AT COLBY
Pat is majoring in Economics. He is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor and facilitates sexual violence prevention trainings for athletes. Pat works on campus as a research assistant for education professor Adam Howard travelled to Taiwan in the summer of 2017 to do a case study at an international school and presented findings at a CVSRR Symposium. Pat published an article with Howard in the educational journal, Youth and Society. He received worldwide attention for his viral video of his dunk from the free-throw line.
2017-18 season highlights: Dickert played in all 24 games this season, averaging 16.6 minutes per contest. He finished second on the team in rebounds (115), fourth in steals (17), and fifth in field goal percentage (44.0). He averaged 6.0 points per game. Pat finishes his Colby career with 333 points, 211 rebounds, 52 assists, and 31 steals.
2016-17 season highlights: Pat missed his junior season due to injury, but still was a co-captain.
2015-16 season highlights: Dickert played in all 25 games for the Mules as a sophomore, averaging 19.2 minutes per game. He averaged 6.0 points and 1.5 assists per contest. Pat was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
2014-2015 season highlights: Dickert, who made the Maine All-Rookie Team, finished the season making 11 appearances for the Mules. He averaged 7.8 minutes per game and had 17 rebounds.
