BEFORE COLBY

Joe graduated from Beaver CDS, where he was a member of the cross country and basketball teams. He was a New England champion in cross country and won the Most Outstanding Male Athlete award. Joe worked as a research analyst at the Potomac Advocates over the summer of 2016. Joe was a transfer from Wesleyan University.

AT COLBY 

Joe is majoring in Government. He is a Goldfarb Center fellow and a writing tutor. Joe works as a research assistant on campus.

2016-17 season highlights: Connelly started all 24 games for the Mules, averaging 21.3 minutes per game. He averaged 7.8 points, 2.1 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per contest. He also had 11 blocks and 18 steals on the season. Joe went 7-for-7 from 3-point range in a victory over Dean College. He was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2015-16 season highlights: Connelly played in all 25 games for the Mules, finishing the season averaging 12.6 minutes, 3.2 points, and 1.3 rebounds per contest. Joe was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.

2014-2015 season highlights: Connelly appeared in all 25 games for the Mules and averaged 12.1 minutes a game. Joe finished the season with a free throw percentage of .867.
