Dean graduated with high honors from Cheshire Academy and played basketball. He won the team's most improved award his junior year. Dean interned at Flip It.
AT COLBY
Dean is majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. He attended the London School of Economics and was an intern at Stifel. He was a member of Campus Conversations on Race (CCOR) during his sophomore year and the Economics Club as a junior.
2017-18 season highlights: Weiner played in 17 games for the Mules, starting 16, and averaging 26.0 minutes in conference games. He finished first on the team in rebounds (157) and blocks (52), second in field goal percentage (52.9), and third in assists (52). He had 10.8 points per game, 9.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per contest, while averaging 12.2 points and 3.8 blocks in conference games. Through three seasons with the Mules, Weiner has 237 points, 191 rebounds, 56 assists, and 58 blocks in his career.
2016-17 season highlights: Dean played in 14 games for the Mules. He led the team in shooting percentage (64.5) and shooting percentage against NESCAC teams (66.7). He averaged 3.4 points and two rebounds per contest. He was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team.
2015-16 season highlights: Weiner played in three games for the Mules in his first season, averaging 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.
