Trevor Coston rejoined the Colby Football Coaching staff to start the 2023-24 academic year after a few years of private training with AIM Precision. In 2018-19, Coston served as Colby's defensive backs coach.
Prior to that, Coston gained coaching experience with Bridgton Academy in 2016 and 2017, serving as the teams wide receivers and defensive backs coach.
A 2011 graduate from the University of Maine with a B.A. in Child Development with a minor in Physical Education and Kinesiology, Coston was a four year player for the Black Bears under Colby Head Coach Jack Cosgrove. Coston was a starter at cornerback during his final three seasons at the University of Maine and served as a captain during his final season. He amassed 215 tackles and 12 interceptions during his time in Orono.
After graduation, Coston signed with the Chicago Bears as a preferred Free Agent and spent time with the Bears and the Detroit Lions during his three-year stint in the NFL. Coston then played for the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL.
Most recently, Coston went on to earn his Master’s Degree from St. John’s University in New York.
