Why I chose Colby: "I chose Colby because of the opportunity to play field hockey and its proximity to home."

BEFORE COLBY

Emily graduated with high honors from Messalonskee High School, where she was a member of the field hockey, lacrosse, and indoor track teams. She was awarded Player of the Year honors in field hockey, was a Miss Maine Field Hockey runner-up, was a McNally All-Star North Team selection, and was selected for the 2014 Junior Olympics for USA Field Hockey. She holds her high school record for most goals scored in field hockey. Emily was also a National Honor Society member.

AT COLBY

Emily, who is a transfer from Division I American University, is majoring Psychology at Colby.

2018 season highlights: Hogan played in all 16 games for the Mules this season, starting 15 of them. She finished second on the team in points (15) with seven goals and an assist. She also led the team in game-winning goals with four.
