Biography

Why I chose Colby: "To have a balance between academic and athletic interests while having time to experience the beauty of Maine."

Summer Internship/Work Experience: Eliza was an intern at a veterinary hospital and worked with children as a camp counselor and a coach. She Volunteers with Playground Pals and the Waterville Humane Society. 

Major: Psychology, minor in Biology

Plans After Colby: Eliza is planning on studying veterinary science at graduate school.

 

2018 season highlights: Eliza played in 16 games, making eight starts. She finished tied for fourth on the team with three goals and three assists. She also had two game-winning goals. Mell was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team.

2017 season highlights: Mell played in 12 games for the Mules, starting five of them. She finished the season with one goal. 

2016 season highlights: Mell played in 12 games for the Mules in her first season, finishing the year with two defensive saves.
