BEFORE COLBY
Tom graduated from Barrington High School, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams. Tom was a first team all-state selection in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track, and an All-New England outdoor track selection in the 1,500 meters.

Tom majors in Economics and minors in Human Development at Colby. He is a Colby Cares About Kids mentor.
2016 cross country season highlights: Tom made the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2016 outdoor season highlights: Barry did not compete in any events during his junior season. Barry earned NESCAC Spring All-Academic honors.
2016 indoor season highlights: Barry started the season at the USM Open, finishing sixth in the 1,000 meters and third in the mile. He took third in the 1,200 meters at the Wheaton Invitational. At the Maine State Championships, Tom finished third in the 1,200 meters, 11th in the mile, and helped the 4x800 meter relay team finish third. He was named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic team.
2015 cross country season highlights: Barry finished 11th at the Bates junior/senior Race, 46th at the Maine State Championships, and 13th at the ECAC Championships in his junior year. Tom was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.
2015 outdoor season highlights: Barry finished fifth in the 1,500 and 10th in the 800 at the Colby Invitational. At the Maine State Championships, Barry finished fifth in the 1,500.
2015 indoor season highlights: Barry opened the season by taking second in the 1,000 meters and first in the mile at the USM Invitational. Barry took first in the 4x800 relay and third in the mile at the Bates Invitational. At the Maine State Championships, Barry finished fourth in the 4x800 relay and seventh in the 800. Tom finished his season at the New England Division III Championships, where he finished sixth in the 4x800 relay and 17th in the 1,000.
2014 cross country season highlights: Barry finished 13th in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates to open the season. Tom then took 22nd at the Middlebury Invitational, 15th at the Maine State Championships, and 32nd at the ECAC Championships.
2014 outdoor season highlights: Barry opened his season by finishing seventh in the 800 meters at the Bates Invitational. At the Maine State Championships, Barry finished the 1,500 race in fifth and finished 11th in the 800. Barry helped the 4x800 relay team finish fifth at the New England Division III Championships.

2013 cross country season highlights: Barry took 16th in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates. He followed that finish with a 78th-place finish at the Williams Invitational.
