Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Noel graduated with high honors from Boston College High School, where he was a member of the soccer, cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. He was a Catholic Conference All-Star and the recipient of the Jack Dempsey Award. Noel interned at a sports and spine injury rehab clinic.

AT COLBY 

Noel is majoring in Biology and Math. He tutors math at Waterville Junior High and volunteers in the emergency room at Maine General.

2017 cross country season highlights: Noel placed 73rd at the NCAA New England Region meet and 46th at the NESCAC league event. He had a strong fourth-place finish for Colby at the Keene State Invitational, placed 18th and first among Colby runners at the Bowdoin Invitational, and was ninth in the junior/senior race against Bates.

2016 cross country season highlights: Feeney finished 12th at the Bates junior/senior race, 77th at the Williams Purple Valley Invitational, 26th at Maine State Championships, and 43rd at the NESCAC Championships. He also placed 74th in the New England Division III Championships.

2016 outdoor season highlights: Feeney started the outdoor season with a 33rd place-finish at the PLNU Track & Field Invitational in the 5,000 meters. Noel then followed it up with a fourth at the Bowdoin Invitational in the 5,000 meters. At the Colby Open, Noel raced in the 1,500 meters, finishing in first, and the 800 meters, finishing in fifth and setting a personal best. At the Maine State Meet, Feeney raced in the 5,000 meters, where he finished in fifth place. Noel closed out his sophomore campaign at the NESCAC Championships racing in the 1,500 meters with a 15th-place finish and setting a new personal best, as well as helping the 4x800 meter relay team to a ninth.

2016 indoor track season highlights: Feeney opened the season by finishing 13th in the mile at the Bates tri-meet. Noel then finished first in the 3K at the Wheaton Invitational, third with the 4x800 relay team, and fourth in the 5K at the Maine State Championships. At the Open New England Championships, Feeney helped the 4x800 relay team finish 16th.

2015 cross country season highlights: Feeney opened the season by taking 10th at the Bates junior/senior race, third at the Bowdoin Invitational, 14th at the Maine State Championships, and 66th at the NESCAC Championships. To finish the season, Feeney took 109th at the New England Division III Championships.

2015 outdoor track season highlights: Feeney helped the 4x800 relay team finish fifth at the Open New England Championships. Feeney also finished the 5,000 event at the Jim Sheehan Memorial in third place. Noel competed in the 1,500 event and took sixth at the Colby Invitational and placed seventh at the Maine State Championships.

2015 indoor track season highlights: Feeney took third in the 4x800 relay and eighth in the mile at the Bates Invitational to open the season. At the Bowdoin Invitational he took 16th in the 3,000 and 11th in the same event at the Maine State Championships. Feeney finished his season at the New England Division III Championships by taking 11th in the DMR.

2014 cross country season highlights: Feeney finished 27th at the Middlebury Invitational and 15th at the ECAC Championships.
