Jason graduated from Marshwood High School.

AT COLBY 

Jason has a double major in Economics (Financial Markets concentration) and French Studies. He has a minor in Mathematics.

2017 season highlights: Jason was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team for the third straight year. He placed second in the 6-kilometer race at the Colby Invitational. Jason also competed in the Keene State Invitational, the Bowdoin Invitational, and the junior/senior race against Bates. 

2016 season highlights: Beland finished 23rd at the Bates junior/senior race and 94th at the Maine State Championships. He also competed in the Colby Invitational. Jason was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2015 season highlights: Beland finished 33^rd at the Bates first-year/sophomore race, 97^th at the Bowdoin Invitational, and 137^th at the Maine State Championships. Jason was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2014 season highlights: Beland finished in 29th place in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates to open the season.
