Biography

Alan graduated from Bowie High School.

AT COLBY 

Alan is a Physics and Mathematics double major at Colby. He received the William A. Rogers Physics Prize in 2016.

2016 season highlights: Ottenstein finished 19th at the Bates junior/senior race and 51st at the Maine State Championships. He also competed in the Colby Invitational. Alan was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team for the third straight year.

2015 season highlights: Ottenstein finished 20th at the Bates junior/senior race, 53rd at the Bowdoin Invitational, and 54th at the Maine State Championships in his junior season. He was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2014 season highlights: Ottenstein finished 21st at the first-year/sophomore race at Bates. Alan was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

2013 season highlights: Ottenstein finished 18th for the Mules in the first-year/sophomore race at Bates and 30th at the ECAC Championships.
