Biography

BEFORE COLBY

Ito graduated from Don Bosco Preparatory High School and played baseball. He was a National Honor Society member, a Latin Honors member, and the recipient of the Don Bosco Prep and Doug Davis Awards.

AT COLBY

Ito is majoring in Economics with a Financial Markets concentration and a Japanese minor. He is a teaching assistant for the Japanese Department and Student Athletic Advisory Committee member. He also did research development over the summer. 

2018 season highlights: Taimu made seven appearances and had two starts. He threw 12.1 innings and had eight strikeouts. 

2017 season highlights: Taimu made 12 appearances on the mound for the Mules in his first season, making eight starts and earning the team's Rookie of the Year Award. He was second on the team in strikeouts (39) and third in ERA (2.84). He also had two wins, 50.2 innings pitched, and 12 defensive assists.
