Biography

Why I chose Colby:  I chose Colby because of the excellent education and incredible amount of opportunity here. I also admire president Green and I'm encouraged by the direction the school is heading. The hockey program is also unbelievable and made the decision a no brainer. Every day I get to go to the rink and compete with 30 high character individuals who are all my best friends.

Major:  Biology with a concentration in neuroscience and a minor in English

Favorite Place on Campus:  The locker-room

Most Memorable Team Experience:  Driving home from road win in a blizzard

Favorite Professional Athlete:  Brad Marchand

Favorite Pre-Game Meal/Snack:  Chicken parm

Internship/Work Experience:  Last summer I spent some time shadowing an orthopedic surgeon and writing some surgical technique papers

Plans After Colby:  Pursue a career in the Navy, go to medical school, or get an MBA
