BEFORE COLBY
Brooks graduated from Weston High School (2014) and Deerfield Academy (2015). He was a National Honor Society member, recipient of the U.S. Marines Scholar Athlete Award, a league MVP, and a three-time DCL All-Star in baseball.
AT COLBY
Brooks is an Economics (Financial Markets) major and has a minor in Statistics. He is a member of the Colby football sideline staff. Over the past couple summers, he has worked as an investment banking summer analyst at Capstone Headwaters, as well as an intern for Longpoint Reality Partners and Mass General Hospital.
2018 season highlights: Brooks had six starts and a pair of victories while pitching mostly from the No. 1 starter spot. Parker, who had 20 strikeouts, was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2017 season highlights: Parker made 10 appearances for the Mules on the mound, making eight starts. He led the team in strikeouts (40) and had just 10 walks, was second in innings pitched (49.0), and fourth in ERA (3.31). The No. 1 starter for the Mules, Brooks earned the Jack Coombs Award as the team's Most Valuable Pitcher. Parker was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.
2016 season highlights: Parker made nine appearances for the Mules on the mound, making seven starts. Brooks finished the year with a 1-1 record, 21 strikeouts, and a 4.67 ERA over 34.2 innings pitched.
