Building Community

Our players join in a variety of efforts to build a local community for girls and women in sport and the surrounding area. We regularly volunteer for events such as Special Olympics, National Girls in Sports, and major Colby sporting events. We also mobilize when there are people in our community in personal need and offer thoughtful and generous assistance. We measure our service not in hours or dollars, but in moments changed and opportunities optimized.

Free Clinic

Colby Women’s Soccer holds an annual free clinic for all interested players grades 9-12. Colby players design and coach a structured team training session for girls who attend the event. It is an educational and inspirational evening of soccer for all those involved!

This year’s free clinic will be held on Friday, April 17 from 6-7:30PM. Please contact Coach Chad Sisson cgsisson@colby.edu for details.

CWS x Sri Lanka

We are proud to be associated with our sister team, The Union College U14 and U17 girls teams in Tellipalai, Jaffna District, Sri Lanka. This amazing team brings together girls with high aspirations to secure fun competition and community resources for the players and their families. CWS donates gear, first aid supplies, and other resources to the team, and are thrilled to celebrate the U14 girls as 2025 School National Champions in Sri Lanka!
