BEFORE COLBY

Chris graduated from Yarmouth High School, where he played baseball, hockey, and soccer. For baseball, he was the varsity captain in 2017 and was Southern Maine Class B All-Conference. In hockey, he was the varsity captain in both 2016 and 2017 as well as a Maine Class B Senior All-Star and Maine Hockey Evan Spear Award Finalist. In soccer, he received the Clipper Leadership Award 2017. Romano also received the Excellence in Language Award and was on the honor roll for grades 9-12. Additionally, he received the George O. Merrill Athlete of the Year Award in 2017.

AT COLBY

Chris is double majoring in Government and History. He is the administrative chair for Student Health on Campus, as well as a member of the Special Olympics Club and Colby Catholics Community.

2018 season highlights: Chris batted .333 in limited at-bats in his first season with the Mules. He did not make an error in 18 chances.
