Biography

Why did you choose Colby? I chose Colby largely due to the coaching staff, as well as the direction the football program was going, which gave me the opportunity to help turn the program around and change the culture. Also, the opportunities Colby presents after college in the workplace greatly influenced my decision.

Favorite Place on Campus: The new AC (Athletic Center)
 
Most Memorable Team Experience: Beating Amherst 10-7 for the first time in 22 years on a game winning interception by THE Brett Holmes.
 
Internship/Work Experience: Programs Intern with RISE to Win, Performance, Movement Coaching Intern with Aim Precision, Scout for Blue 57 
 
Plans After Colby: Hoping to work in sports in some fashion, possibly as a coach.

Career Highlights (through 2022): Nipon has played in 19 games during his career. He has recorded 101 total tackles (64 solo), 12 pass breakups, three interceptions and one fumble recovery. He also has 19 punt return attempts good for 194 total yards (10.2 average) with the longest being 51 yards.
