Sebastian graduated from Moses Brown School and completed a post-graduate year at Kent School, where he was a member of the football, basketball, and track teams. In his senior year at Moses Brown, he captained all three teams. Sebastian was an all-state football player his junior and senior years and was named to the Providence Journal student-athlete honor roll.

Sebastian is majoring in Math with a minor in Economics.

2016 season highlights: Ferrell played in all eight games for the Mules, leading the team with 30 receptions for 537 yards and four touchdowns. He ranked first in the NESCAC in averages yards per catch (17.9), fifth in total receiving yards (537), sixth in yards per game (67.1), tied for ninth in touchdowns, and 11th in total catches. He also returned 10 kicks for 183 yards.

2015 season highlights: Ferrell played in six games in his first year, finishing the season with 17 receptions for 173 yards.
