Waterville, Maine - Colby Men's Soccer(3-2-3) hosted Husson(2-3-2) this afternoon in a non-conference matchup that turned into a shootout. Two lead changes and a hat trick from Anthony Bugliari kept everyone entertained down to the last minute as a late goal earned the Mules a 3-3 draw. 

Husson got off the mark early with a goal less than three minutes in. Colby responded fifteen minutes later when Jude Gussen found Bugliari for his second goal of the season while Gussen grabbed his second assist. It didn't take Bugliari long to find the back of the net again, as less than two minutes later, the junior capitalized on a ball from Theo Scott. Colby would later concede a penalty kick, which was converted to tie the game 2-2 heading into the half.

Coming out of the break, the Mules started strong as Leo Robison rattled a strike off the crossbar. But it was Husson that jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the 55th minute. Colby responded brilliantly, like in the first half, as Gussen and Ilan Druker both tested the keeper. But the equalizer would come with six minutes to play, as Bugliari rounded off his hat-trick and rescued a draw for the Mules. Defensively, Colby kept Husson to 13 shots while goalkeeper Jackson Magee had another strong night, coming up with 5 saves. 

The Mules are back in action Saturday, October 3rd, as they travel to Middlebury for a NESCAC conference matchup.
