Waterville, Maine - For the 24th consecutive year, the Colby Women's Lacrosse team has locked in a spot for the NESCAC Championship Tournament. The seventh seeded Mules will head to two seeded Tufts Jumbos this Saturday, April 25th for a quarterfinal round matchup.
In this years season opener back on February 28th, Colby fell to Tufts 16-11 here in Waterville. Last year, the Mules and Jumbos met in the semifinal round with Tufts taking the win. Heading into the game, Tufts is ranked second in all of Division III with Colby ranked 15th according to the
IWLCA poll.Â

Stella Regan's play making ability on Saturday as she currently ranks seventh in the conference in assists per game (1.47).
Kristin Podgorni had an impressive regular season at the center circle totaling 51 draw controls, the eighth most in the NESCAC. Lastly on the defensive end,
Gisele Uva ranks inside the top-20 in caused turnovers per game (1.27).Â
Saturday's matchup is scheduled to begin at noon. Fans can follow alongside the action through the

Following the conclusion of this weekends quarterfinal matchups, the four winners will compete on championship weekend at the highest remaining seed. The semifinals will take place Saturday, May 2nd followed by the championship game on Sunday, May 3rd.
