Amherst, MA - Following a match against Hamilton the day before, the Colby Women's Tennis Team continued its road trip with a matchup against #14 Amherst. 

In doubles, the Mules put up a strong effort but were unable to secure the doubles point. After a loss at the #2 position, Colby had a tight contest at the #3 position but ultimately fell 6-3 to their Amherst opponents. The Mammoths closed out doubles with a 7-6 victory at the #1 spot. 

In singles play, Amherst continued its strong performance, winning in straight sets at all six positions. 

The Mules will look to bounce back next weekend in an out-of-conference match against Brandeis on Sunday.
