Box Score 2 Waterville, ME - The Colby College Mules (5-2) split a Saturday doubleheader with the Brandeis University Judges (7-2) at Coombs Field. Colby rallied late to take the opener 2-1 before Brandeis answered with a 6-3 win in game two.
Game One Mule Moments:
- Brandeis struck first in the third inning when Ben Kuja drove in Noah Koong with an RBI single.
- Colby tied the game in the fifth when Patrick Shrake singled, stole second, and later scored on a Brandeis fielding error.
- Thomas Rioux delivered a strong start on the mound, throwing 6.1 innings and striking out eight while allowing just one run.

- Brandeis regained the lead in the third inning, capitalizing on a Colby error and an RBI groundout from Tambascia.
- Patrick Shrake cut the deficit to one in the fourth inning when he doubled, stole third, and scored on a sacrifice fly from Aubuchon.
- The Judges extended their lead with runs in the fifth and sixth innings, including a run-scoring single from Tambascia.
- Brandeis pitching held Colby to just five hits in the game, with Jackson Herzog earning the win in relief and Jack Sweeney closing out the game for the save.
