Brunswick, ME - In a tightly contested 5–4 matchup that came down to the final round of matches, Colby emerged victorious over Bowdoin to secure the CBB title for the second consecutive year.
The scoring was led by Seif Ashraf '27, who set the tone early with an assertive and dominant 3–0 victory. Freshman Hamza Wessam '29 quickly followed with a composed 3–0 win of his own. Timo Radionov '28 added the third sweep of the day, remaining steady and disciplined against a tough opponent. After splitting the first two games, Avery Rosenberg '27 closed out his match in four to keep the momentum rolling. The final point of the day came from Youssef Mostafa '26, who continued his consistent play at the number five spot with a commanding 3–0 victory in just 30 minutes, posting scorelines of 11–3, 11–4, and 11–4.
This win over Bowdoin, combined with yesterday's victory against Bates, secures Colby as the Champions of Maine.
The Men's Squash team will look to carry this momentum into the NESCAC Championships next weekend.
