Lyme, N.H. - Returning to the slalom hill where she earned NCAA All-American a year ago,
Carissa Cassidy raced her way to fourth place in the Dartmouth Carnival Slalom. The women's team placed fifth while three top-30 finishes earned the men's team their best finish of the season, sliding into sixth in the 13-team field.
Cassidy was separated by the podium by the slimmest of margins, sitting only 0.01 out of third.
Finn Boissonneault (cover photo) had her best finish of the season in 25th, and
Sophie Stocker was Colby's third scorer in 42nd. The women's race was won by Zoe Zimmermann of Dartmouth.
Topher Davenport (photo left) led the way on the men's side with his best finish of the season, placing 22nd.
Harrison Digangi was right behind in 24th, and Townsend Mikkell made it three in the top-30, cruising into 30th place. The men's race was also won by a member of the hosting institution as Dartmouth's Calum Langmuir earned the victory.
Colby is back in action next weekend for the UVM Carnival hosted at Stowe Mountain Resort.
