Mules (#20) Stun Mammoths (#14) with Thrilling 6–3 NESCAC Victory

Waterville, ME - In a mid-week NESCAC battle, Colby pulled off a statement 6-3 upset against the Amherst Mammoths.

Coming off a long and grueling weekend, the Colby men's squash team entered the match determined and hungry for a result. The Mules struck first as senior Sebastian Campos '26 rebounded from a dropped opening game to battle back and claim the next three. Timo Radionov '28 followed with a similar showing, narrowly falling 11–13 in the first game before taking control and winning the final three decisively.

Freshmen Omar Bastawy '29 and Hamza Wessam '29 added crucial momentum for Colby, each earning straight-set victories. The final two points came down to the wire, as Carlos Zendejas '27 and Youssef Mostafa '26 showcased resilience and composure through long, physical rallies to secure hard-fought 3–0 wins and seal the victory for the Mules.

Colby is back in action next Friday (1/30) at home versus Saint Lawrence.
