Waterville, ME - Colby ended the weekend with a convincing 8-1 victory against NESCAC foe, Connecticut College.
The Mules jumped out to an early lead at the top of the ladder, as
Seif Ashraf '27 set the tone with a clean 3–0 victory in one spot.
Hamza Wessam '29 followed with another straight-set win at the two spot keeping Colby firmly in control.
Carlos Zendejas '27 battled through four games to earn a 3–1 win, extending the Mules' momentum.
Colby continued its dominance through the middle of the lineup. Youssif Mostafa '26, Omar Bastawy '29, Sebastian Campos '26, Timo Radionov '28, and Avery Rosenberg '27 all posted decisive 3–0 victories, throughout the middle of the ladder.
With the win, the Mules demonstrated strength and consistency throughout the lineup, closing out the weekend on a high note and continuing to build momentum moving forward.
The Mules are back in action next Saturday (1/17) to face NESCAC opponent Williams on the road.
