Mules Keep Hot Streak Alive Against Endicott

Beverly, Massachusetts - Looking to continue their good run of form, the Mules traveled south to face non-conference opponent Endicott College. From the start, Colby dominated possession and came away with a convincing 2-0 win, taking them to 4-1-2 on the season.

After being on the receiving end of early goals against, the Mules turned the tide and got off to a flying start. Jasper Paez found Jude Gussen four minutes in for the lead and the freshman's third goal of the season. From then on, Colby maintained pressure in Endicott's half, registering another four shots in the next ten minutes that all missed the frame. The Mules led heading into the break, 1-0.

Coming out of the half, Colby chased a crucial second goal for a cushion. Andy Uku forced an early save from the Gull goalie, but it wasn't until the 76th minute that the Mules found their breakthrough. Anthony Bugliari's solo effort doubled Colby's lead and propelled him to a team-leading four goals on the season. The Mules then closed out another strong game away from home, looking strong defensively as they conceded no shots on target.

Colby is back in action Saturday, September 27th, as they play Williams College in the first game of a NESCAC weekend doubleheader.
