New London, Conn. - The Colby College Field Hockey team played against Connecticut College on Saturday Afternoon. The Mules and the Camels played a back and forth game, but Conn came out on top in overtime with a 3-2 win. Colby now stands 0-3 in the NESCAC Conference.

Christina Sweeney tied the game at 1-1 and kept the Mules in the game early on. With two minutes to play in the quarter, first-year goaltender
Ginna Jacoby faced a penalty stroke shot from Conn and came up the save, keeping the game at a tie. Conn scored again just over a minute into the second quarter to take the lead once again, but Colby didn't let up. Sweeney tied up the game just three minutes into the third quarter, earning her third goal of the season. Colby and Conn continued to fight, but 60 minutes wasn't enough for these two teams. In overtime, the Mules dominated possession of the ball, but Conn was able to capitalize once again and took the win just four minutes into the 10 minutes overtime to come up with the win. Jacoby recorded seven saves during the match.
Colby is back in action at WNE on Sunday at 12pm.
