Tempe, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") has recently announced the 2025 ITA Division III Men's Regional and National Award recipients. Every year the ITA recognizes coaches and student-athletes for their excellence both on the court and in their communities throughout the season and two Mules have been recognized. 

Jason Daly has been named the ITA Rookie of the Year of the Northeast Region while Jake Cohen earns the ITA's Most Improved Player award for the Northeast Region.

On the national level, Cohen was also highlighted as the ITA National Most Improved Player. Playing from the top singles position all season long, Cohen worked his way up the Colby lineup over the years and developed his level into one of the top players in the country. Ranked in the Top 40 in singles, Cohen was a singles semifinalist at the 2024 ITA New England Regionals giving him great confidence heading into the spring. In doubles, Cohen has ranked in the Top 25 of the national doubles rankings playing at the No. 1 doubles position also.
